They are ideal for small to mid-sized businesses with distributed sites and branch offices and are also built for the application and Web services tiers of enterprise data centers. These servers integrate seamlessly into an existing IT infrastructure to provide longevity and investment protection.  These use the same HP zx1 Chipset as the HP Integrity servers based on the Intel Itanium 2 processor.  The standardized design of these servers allows for an easy in-box upgrades, and there are several optional high-availability and business-continuity solutions. The HP Systems Insight Manager (HP SIM) enables single point administration, while the HP Secure Web Console allows for web-based management allowing for ultimate flexibility. HP's Extended Fault Management System is the ultimate in error detection and avoidance allowing for a high uptime.
